Sandra H. Park, a doctoral candidate in History, recently had an essay published on the blog of the Association for Asian Studies. “Finding the Taejon Massacre in Independence, Missouri” chronicles Park's discovery and analysis, while doing research at the Truman Library, of previously un-publicized photographs of a Korean War massacre.

Park is the recipient of a 2020-2021 Pozen Center Graduate Lectureship. She is currently preparing a dissertation on the mediating role of Christianity in the making of South Korean citizenship.
