Tanya Estrada Gomez

Tanya is a 3rd-year graduate student at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy and Practice and the Harris School of Public Policy. She interned a Hispanic Federation (HF), the nation’s premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. As the Policy, Advocacy, and Program intern, Tanya documented and conducted power analyses of key stakeholders to facilitate advocacy. She assisted in researching data indicators of Latino equity, socio-economic status, and economic mobility. Additionally, she provided support with developing recommendations to address HF Chicago office policy priorities in the areas of immigration, education, healthcare, economic empowerment, the environment, and civic engagement.
