Martha Nussbaum is the Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics in the Law School and Philosophy Department, and the College. She is an associate member of the Divinity School, the Classics Department, and the Political Science Department.
Professor Nussbaum’s prolific body of work focuses on moral and political philosophy. Her most recent book is The Cosmopolitan Tradition: A Noble but Flawed Ideal (Harvard University Press, 2019).
