Reyna Hernandez
Reyna Hernandez is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology. Broadly, her work focuses on how law and the criminal legal system create and maintain inequities and how they affect justice-impacted individuals. Combining her passions and educational pursuits, she researches the effects of wrongful conviction and exoneration. Reyna holds MA degrees in Social Sciences and Sociology from the University of Chicago and a BA in Criminology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
