The Human Rights Lab is thrilled to announce "Narrating Social Change," the first mixed enrollment course ever offered to UChicago students. The course will be held in Spring Quarter at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, Illinois, bringing UChicago students and incarcerated students together for a quarter of learning, dialogue, and knowledge-building across the prison wall.

A full course description can be found on our Curriculum page.

The course is not yet listed in the course catalog; a special application is required in advance of Spring Quarter registration. Due to the unique nature of the course, we are conducting an early application process for approval to enroll.

Come hear from Professors Alice Kim and Cathy Cohen, who will co-teach the course, about the application process, logistics, and more.

Food will be served!
