Communications and Events Manager (full-time)

The Center for Human Rights is recruiting a new full-time Communications & Events Manager. The Manager will provide leadership for all Center communications efforts and will work closely with the Assistant Director to implement all Center events. The position requires close collaboration with campus offices, outside vendors, students, alumni, and donors. Key qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 1-3 years of communications experience, and excellent computer and organizational skills. Graphic design or photography experience preferred. Administrative Assistant (part-time)

The Center for Human Rights is recruiting a new part-time Administrative Assistant to provide general logistical and clerical support for the Center, including management of daily operations and administrative tasks. The Assistant will also be responsible for Human Rights course administration. The position requires close collaboration with campus offices and sensitive handling of confidential student, staff, and financial data. Key qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, minimum one year of office or financial management, and excellent attention to detail. The position is 20 hours/week, preferably 4-5 days per week. Student Assistant (UChicago Students Only; 10 hours/week)

The Center for Human Rights is recruiting a Student Assistant for 10-15 hours per week to assist with events and operations throughout the school year. Applicants must be reliable, have excellent communication skills, and pay close attention to detail, and experience with design and social media preferred.
