Dr. Aizik Wolf Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship in Human Rights
DEADLINE EXTENDED! Due by 8:00am CST on Tuesday, March 29, 2016
This Pozen Center fellowship funds one year of work after graduation at a non-governmental organization, government agency, or international body dedicated to human rights. Dr. Aizik Wolf, AB’77 created the Dr. Aizik Wolf Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship in Human Rights to help University of Chicago College graduates launch their own careers as activists and practitioners of human rights and social justice. More details here >>

Ignacio Martín-Baró Human Rights Essay Competition
Applications due by 8am CST on Monday, April 4, 2016
The Pozen Center will award three prizes to UChicago students in the amount of $500 (five hundred dollars) each for the best essays in the field of human rights. Submissions may be analytical or critical essays, empirical research papers, term papers or personal essays on any human rights issue. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: College, Master’s/Professional, and PhD students. More details here >>

Pozen Research Grants for PhD Students
Applications due by 8am CST on Monday, April 11, 2016
The Pozen Center will award grants of up to $5,000 to PhD students in the Humanities and Social Sciences to support both pre-dissertation and dissertation research projects. More details here >>

Graduate Lectureships
Applications due by 8am CST on Monday, April 11, 2016
The Pozen Center will award up to three lectureships to advanced graduate students in Humanities or Social Sciences to teach one undergraduate Human Rights course of their own design. Courses should address human rights from a disciplinary, thematic, or regional perspective. More details here >>
