This event is free and open to the public.
Across the world, the issues of societal conflict and conflict resolution are prevalent as many peoples hope for a more secure and stable future. Long-held assumptions about war-to-peace transitions have proven inadequate as the ends of war increasingly co-occur with ongoing insecurity, entrepreneurial insurgent factions, and nonlinear processes of transitional justice. While peace and trauma can be discussed in academic settings and as a policy issue, we aim to host a conversation from both sides to spark interdisciplinary discussion.
