Anthony Calixto
Anthony is a Fourth Year in the College majoring in Public Policy with minors in Religious studies and Computational Social Analysis.
This summer Anthony worked as a data evaluation intern at Achieve Miami where he worked on systems for the gathering and analysis of data from their summer program with the summer culminating with the work on a final report of the results from the summer.
In addition, this summer, Anthony worked as a research assistant at the Housing Transactions Clinic at UChicago Law, where he worked on fairer pricing valuation for affordable housing properties and properties kept affordable in perpetuity, among other projects.
Anthony has previous experience in the legal realm having worked at MALDEF and the Cook County Public Defender's office. Still, he recently has taken steps to explore the human rights realm through data-driven approaches hoping to gain a well-rounded and balanced understanding of the field and balanced skillset.
Anthony has a wide variety of interests in the human rights realm, from immigration, and housing to education, and is always eager to learn about other sectors. He aspires to become a civil rights or antitrust lawyer working to better society through his work.
