Ben Laurence

Ben Laurence is Associate Instructional Professor in the Social Sciences Collegiate Division and the Division of Social Sciences.

Professor Laurence’s research focuses on the philosophy of race, the philosophy of action, and human rights. He is the author of “Constructivism, Strict Compliance, and Realistic Utopia”; “The Priority of Ideal Theory”; and “An Anscombean Approach to Collective Action” in Anscombe’s Intention (Harvard University Press, 2010), among others.
