Lautaro Cella is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of Chicago, specializing in comparative politics and quantitative methods. He studies comparative political behavior, redistributive politics, and democratic backsliding, with a regional focus on Latin America. Lautaro holds a B.A. in Political Science from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT), Argentina.

In addition to the Pozen Center, his work has been supported by the University of Chicago Center for Latin American Studies, the Center for International Social Science Research, the Forum for Free Inquiry and Expression, the Social Sciences Research Center, and the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts.
