Anna Fox

Anna Fox is a PhD student in sociology at the University of Chicago whose research interests include policing, race, gender, and violence.  She uses interviewing, ethnography, and geospatial methods to study policing in Chicago, with a particular focus on the relationship between policing practices, gender, and legal estrangement. Her research has been funded by the Pozen Center for Human Rights and the Charles R. Henderson fund, and she holds a BA. in social studies from Wesleyan University and an MA in sociology from the University of Chicago.
